About the Wind
Published monthly, the Allenspark Wind features informative, educational, and entertaining articles in a newspaper format
averaging 28 to 32 pages. Content includes timely announcements, news and current-events reports, historical perspectives,
opinions, creative expression, and ads for local businesses. Production is by community volunteers.
The Allenspark Wind--a journal of, by, and for the Allenspark area community--welcomes original writing, letters, notices,
photographs, or artwork of local interest for publication. Our deadline is the fifteenth of the month, and materials should
be submitted to the address below. Letters and articles may be edited for length and clarity. Please include your name and
address, and a way to contact you by telephone or e-mail.
Subscription rate: $12.50/year (12 issues)
Advertising rates: Want ad $1.50 = per line, $4.50 min.; Business card = $7.50; 1/4 page = $15; 1/3
page $22.50; 1/2 page = $37.50; full page = $75 (rates are for camera-ready copy, special setup extra)
